GS2 CHARACTER GENERATOR

AKI's Graphics Studio 2 engine is the ultimate programmer's tool for CG applications. With an easily-understandable, integrated XML scripting environment and a 3D keyframe editor to compose animations, dissolves, and roll-ons, CG2 can also be a powerful CG tool for non-programmers.

Push Data Programmatically

Most CG products on the US market use Intelligent Interface, which is a "pull data" technology. Operators must first be trained to use the native keyboard-driven UI, after which the CG can be hooked up to an external OBDC data source. This is expensive, time-consuming, crude, and makes implementing a simple score-bug a long, arduous process.

AKI GS2 CG, on the other hand, "pushes" data.

Like "pull" products (Intelligent Interface™), AKI GS2 CG allows your designers and programmers to work independently. But when it comes time to design an application, GS2's OCX object can be imported into any 3GL or 4GL programming language environment (such as C++, C#, or Visual Basic) so that you programmers can design a User Interface of their own choosing - anything from a few sparse "idiot-proof" buttons to an expert-level form crammed with tabs, buttons, and sliders.

Clocks R Us

Most HD CGs on the market have very poor clocks, particularly for running-tenth applications such as athletics, ski racing, and swimming. AKI's CG2 CG has the best running clocks in the marketplace, and is fast & efficient enough to support multiple onscreen clocks with running-tenths. This example (from NASCAR's Pit Crew Challenge™) has 10 clocks running onscreen simultaneously.
