- AKISPORT is a Czech Republic company which produces graphics & special effects for over 600 sporting event broadcasts a year. Unlike most broadcast tool companies, AKISPORT products are the end result of a software development team working daily with a field production team in the same company, the same office. The production team goes out onsite daily, nightly, weekly and uses their own products, returning to the office with immediate feedback, feature suggestions & bug reports for the software development team. On September 18, 2008, AKISPORT collected the prestigious "Pick Hit" Award from BROADCAST ENGINEERING magazine for broadcast products displayed at IBC in Amsterdam.
